Estela is a first generation Venezuelan-American artist who lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Studio Art at Georgia State University in 2009. Today she makes all sorts of collectible crafts ranging from paintings and drawings to embroidery and felted figures. Last year she expanded into collaborative performance work that explores racial identity and brings awareness to domestic violence in Georgia. You can find her walking around the city picking flowers, confronting street harassment, and petting stray cats.
"My artwork is therapeutic for both me and my audience. It approaches a wide range of issues with humor, love, and bright colors."
